SETS runs an annual Spring conference which plays an important role in the life of the Society.
The Finlayson Lecture is given each year at the conference, in honour of R. A. Finlayson, for many years Professor of Systematic Theology at the Free Church College, Edinburgh, who was the first chairman of the Scottish Tyndale Fellowship and then president of SETS.
