Next SETS Conversation Tomorrow! (09 March 2021)

In a Zoom-hosted meeting tomorrow (09.03.2021), four SETS members will bring their perspectives on the question: ‘Where are you seeing the theological opportunities and dangers in the coming months?’

The panel participants are:

  • Anthony Billington, Pastor of the Beacon Church, Ashton-in-Makerfield, and Theological Advisor to the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity
  • Jane Howitt, minister of St Rollox Parish Church, Sighthill
  • Paul Watson, Rector of St James’ Episcopal Church, Bishopbriggs, and leads an informal network ‘Pastors in a Secular Age’
  • David Miller, minister of Millerston UF congregation by Hogganfield Loch. All are immersed in local settings and are well-connected globally, and will bring short inputs for us to reflect on.

SETS members should already have received an email notice with instructions on how to join the conversation. This is, however, an open meeting: any who are not (yet!) members of SETS who would like to join in should contact the SETS Secretary, Gavin Smith at the email: <SETS.secretary@gmail.com>, who will supply the connection details.

We look forward to another fruitful session!
