2018 Annual Conference

Learning with the Global Church

Mon, 16 Apr 2018, 12:30 – Tue, 17 Apr 2018, 14:00

Christianity came to Scotland through the efforts of missionaries, and the Scottish church has been an integral part of the modern Missions movement. But the majority of the church is no longer within the bounds of medieval Christendom: its ‘centre of gravity’ is now in the ‘global south’. How can, and should, Scottish Christians be engaging with this new reality?

The annual Finlayson Lecture—to which members of the public are warmly invited on the Monday evening—will be delivered by Joe Kapolyo, Lead Minister of Edmonton Baptist Church, London (2006-2017), and former principal of All Nations Christian College.
